Grandvalira is a massive ski resort in the Pyrenees of Andorra, famous for its 210 km of slopes and modern lifts. Winters here are cold and snowy, perfect for skiing and snowboarding from December to April, while summers are mild and great for mountain biking on the same trails. You can also try dog sledding in winter or hike to the Estany de Pessons lake in summer-just pack layers, as temps range from 14°F (-10°C) in January to 68°F (20°C) in July.
