Quebec is a vast Canadian province with a distinct French flair, famous for its historic Old Quebec City and lively Montreal festivals. Winters are cold, often below freezing, making it perfect for skiing on Mont-Tremblant's slopes or ice skating on Montreal's Beaver Lake (average January temps: 14°F / -10°C), while summers are warm (mid-70s°F / 24°C) for hiking in the Gaspé Peninsula's Forillon National Park or paddling on the St. Lawrence River.
